Meet Information

This competition is hosted and managed by the Sunshine Track & Field Officials Association. Our intention is to attract the best talent in North Florida while providing you with quality officiating and a variety of events to allow all your athletes to compete. Ranging from Middle Schools, Clubs, Unattached and High Schools, this will be an amazing event in the city of Tallahassee.

Entry Details: High School Division must register through Directathletics.com

Middle Schools / Clubs / Unattached must register through MileSplit

Entry Limit: Middle School/Club Teams: Unlimited entry for both field and running events

High Schools are allowed 2 entries per running event

3 entries are allowed per field event

Relays Events: Each team (including Middle Schools/Clubs) is allowed 2 relay teams

Sprint Medley Relay (SMR 200m-200m-400m-800)

Distance Medley Relay (1200m-400m-800m-1600m)

Implement Weigh In: Middle School 7:30am-8:15am

Girls SP -6lbs      Discus 1K      Turbo Javelin 400g

Boys SP -4K        Discus 1K      Turbo Javelin 500g

High School 8:30am-9:30am

Due to the range of competitors this time limit will be strictly enforced

Sanctioning: FLYRA / FHSAA

Entry Fee: $10 for all individuals

$75 per team

$150 for both teams

Track Surface: 8 Lane synthetic rubberized surface

We will start promptly on time, no delays.

Only 3 attempts (NO FINAL) for jumping events

Only 4 attempt (NO FINAL) for all throwing events

Field Schedule:

8:30am Long Jump followed by Triple Jump

Boys High Jump followed by Girls

Girls PV followed by Boys

Girls Shot Put followed by Boys

Boys Discus followed by Girls

All Field Events will begin with the Middle Schools first followed by the High School divisions

The Javelin (Rubber Tip) competition will start after all throwing events are completed.

Girls Turbo 400g

Boys Turbo 500g

For the horizontal jumps, Girls are on the north pit & Boys are on the south pit.

Check in: Athletes MUST check in at the 1st call for their running event.

Field event check in will be done at the event site.

House Rules: NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED AT ANY TIME DURING

CHECK-IN or THE EVENT SITE

(AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION, NO EXCEPTIONS)

At no time will coaches/parents be allowed on the infield of the track.

All warm-ups will be done on the practice field adjacent to the track.

Please adhere to the officials for your designated coaches boxes for your field events.

At check in for races, athletes are NOT allowed to bring bags or extra clothing.
