Meet Information
Open/Community 5k race taking place before FHSAA 3A District 8. An opportunity to have any athletes not racing districts compete one last time this Cross Country season.
Open to all athletes. If you are in high school please remember NO school uniforms. You can wear a school shirt or anything else. Middle school athletes and adults are welcomed to register. To make sure that the District 5K starting at 5 pm starts on time and that the course is clear we ask that only those athletes able to complete the 5k in under 35 minutes sign up.
Course: Same as 5K Cross Country course.
Registration Fee:
$15 per athlete - please pay on venmo before the event (venmo is @Danny-Aguas) and include the athletes name on the notes.
$100 per ("school") team if more than 7 athletes can be combination of boys and girls that attend the same school - you can pay by check made out to Miami Elite Track Club or cash the day of the event. You can also pay by venmo if you would like (@Danny-Aguas).
You will get a BIB NUMBER before the start of the race. Please come near the starting / timers tent to a red Miami Elite tent to get your bib number and pay if you didn't pay in advance.
Officially timed 5K and will be on flrunners.com
Deadline to Register: Tuesday October 18th by 11:59 pm. ALL Registration done on here through flrunners.com
Awards: TBD - based on number of entries and would be given at the finish line if we do.
Time Schedule:
3:15-4pm- pickup bib number and pay if you haven't already done so
4:15pm- Open/Community 5k Race - Everyone combined - boys and girls
5:00pm- 3A District 8 Girls Race
5:45pm- 3A District 8 Boys Race
