Tallahassee MS Open Championship
Tuesday Oct. 10th @ Holy Comforter Episcopal School 4:30 PM - Location:
Holy Comforter Episcopal School - 2001 Fleischmann Road. XC course is located in the back of campus. Take a right when you arrive on campus. Parking spaces can be found along the tennis courts or in the main school lot in front. The course is located beyond the tennis courts - behind the brick field house - below the baseball field. Can't miss it. Beautiful rolling hills.
Race:
Timed 1 mile races for elementary age runners at 4:30PM.
Timed 3k. Girls MS race at 5:15PM. Boys MS race at 5:45PM. Race results will be posted on www.flrunners.com. This is a basic State Qualifier.
Results will be announced at the end of the event. Individual medals will be awarded for top 5 finishers in both the girls' and boys' divisions.
Championship trophy will be awarded to the top girls' team, and to the top boys' team.
Top 10% finishers of runners and 25% of teams for each gender qualify for the FLYRA Middle School State Championship.
Entries:
Checks payable to Holy Comforter Episcopal School
$30 per gender
$50 for both genders
$10 for individuals in all races
Facilities:
Beautiful course. Outdoor field house with locker rooms near parking lot. Easily accessible. Athletes and coaches will be allowed on the course. Spectators will be asked to stay on the baseball outfield. There is plenty of room there for tents, blankets, etc. Level ground and a vantage point that allows fans to see the entire race.

Parking:
Buses should park in the front lot. Parking for standard size passenger vehicles is available along the side driveway along the tennis courts. If full, park in the main lot in front of the school.
