GIRLS' RACE SUMMARY: Newell took over after 400 meters, and ran solo
from there to the finish, slowing significantly after hitting 2 miles in
the low 12:00s. Behind her, Chiles' top three of Zita Magloire,
Kristine Isom, and Maria Hamptom completely dominated the Maclay and
Jacksonville Episcopal squads with strong pack running and powerful
finishes.
