3rd Annual Eye of the Storm Distance Showcase
This Event will take place on Thursday, November 21st, 2024 @ Celebration High School.
* This is a post-season meet opportunity for ALL distance runners. It would present a unique opportunity to set a 5K PR on the track but also offer you a preview for your future track season.
* Note: This event is open to adults, high school runners, college runners, middle school runners, elementary and alumni. All individuals will run unattached and is open to anyone that is looking to have some fun doing what you love
* This event is Not affiliated with the FHSAA. No school uniforms are permitted
* All entry fees will be paid upon arrival at Celebration HS. Entries will close on November 20th at 8pm. The entry fee will be $20 Dollars per athlete (Unlimited races). CASH ONLY
* Race day registration will be available for $25.(CASH ONLY)
Racing Schedule (Schedule will be a rolling schedule and heats will go fastest to slowest). Start time may be adjusted depending on # of entries
Gates open at 5, races start at 6 in this order ->800-1600-3200-5000
We anticipate starting races every 30 minutes to allow recovery time between each event to allow athletes to compete in multiple events.

Events offered: 800m - 1600m - 3200m - 5km
There will be an Iron Man award for the individual that completes all 4 events with the lowest total time.
Heats will be determined based on entered times. Boys & Girls will run together based on seeding not on gender or age level. The number of athletes per heat will be adjusted to keep all athletes safe and so that the timer will be able to get an accurate count on splits for each lap.
Athletes, please make sure you register online as unattached. If you register under school/club name, it will be changed to unattached All results will show unattached.
