Metro East Championships 2026
Date: Wednesday, April 10th, 2026
Regional Qualifier Meet
Schedule:
Time: 120pm
Coaches Meeting at Start/Finish line
Field Events
3 attempts with 1 legal mark then must make 8 place minimum to get a mark for the last 2
attempts - Long Jump, Triple Jump, Discus, Shot Put and Javelin.
Time: 3:45pm
Long Jump (followed by Triple Jump)
High Jump Finals (Girls followed by Boys)
Pole Vault Finals (Girls followed by Boys)
Shot Put Finals (Girls followed by Boys)
Discus Throw (Boys followed by Girls)
Javelin (G followed by B will begin at the conclusion of Shot Put and Discus)
Running Events
All races are Finals. Races with multiple heats will be seeded with top seeds in the last heat.

100 Meter High Hurdles

100 Meter Dash
1600 Meter Run
4 x 100 Meter Relay

Entries & Fees
Direct Athletics must be done by Monday 4/6/25 by 11:59 pm.
Each school is allowed 3 entries per running or field event and 1 relay in each relay event.
Team entry fee is $350 per school includes officials & medals/ribbons
