RACE SITE
McKethan Lake is located approximately 7 miles north of downtown Brooksville on US 41. It is a beautiful state park consisting of a flat paved 5000 meter course with large oak trees providing maximum shade.
PRE-REGISTRATION
If the following form below is mailed by June 25th, 2011, the pre-registration fee is only $15. Mail all pre-registration forms to Red Mule Runners PO Box 1724 Brooksville, FL 34605-1724.
REGISTRATION
Saturday morning race day registrations will begin at 6:30 am. 5K entry fee per race is $20 on race day. The race will start at 8:00 am. T-shirts will be guaranteed to all runners. Proceeds will help support local high school summer running camps.
AWARDS
Individual medals per race, per age group, will be awarded. Overall male and female as well as masters for both male and female plaques will be awarded.
Mens and Womens Age Groups are as follows:
10 & Under, 11-13, 14-16, 1719, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
POST RACE ACTIVITIES
There will be a barbeque directly following the race hosted by Red Mule Clubs and other various organizations. It is a great way to start off the fourth of July weekend.
