We continue our region by region virtual meets and previews with a look at class 3A. Lincoln High School has the top female sprinter in Jadzia Beasley and hurdler/jumper on the boy's side in John Burt. Leon's Sukhi Khosla is one of the best distance runners in state history and will look to cement his name in the record books in 2015. On the team front, can anyone stop the ladies of MNW? As the season approaches we break down our rankings even further by looking at the top ten boys returners in every for class 1A. The First Academy's Michael Timpson, a UF signee, owns the fastest time in both the 100 and 200m dash. Timpson was first in the 100 and 200m respectively last year at the 1A state meet. Note: This list does not take into account transfers and incoming freshman.

Much like the MNW girls, the St. Thomas Aquinas boys have become a dynasty in their own right. Since 2010 the Raiders have four state titles in 4A and one runner-up finish (2013). 2015 should be an easy state title especially with the return of Yohance Haynes from American High School. 3A Boys Team Scores: BA Is Back Todd Grasley Feb 03, 2015

Ten points separated champion Chiles from fourth place Miami Central at the 3A state championship last year. Boyd Anderson was third in 2014 and looks to be the team to beat lead by mid-distance standout Javon Patterson. Leon, the 3A Cross Country Finals runner-up boasts the states top distance runner in Sukhi Khosla. See the top boys teams in 3A.

Track & Field Top 50: Girls Shot Put Todd Grasley Jan 28, 2015

Northeast High School senior Camora Sanders finished first in six of her eight meets last season and threw the shot put over 41 feet in seven meets. The 4A runner-up and Golden South runner-up comes in with the second farthest throw of returners for 2015 with a mark of 42'6.75" trailing only Tayler Smith of Sebastian River who launched the implement 43'2" at the Bill Wilson Invitational.

West Florida Tech senior Dane Stolsig and Miami Central senior Aaron Hanna are the only two boys shot put returners who have thrown over 55'0. Both athletes finished runner-up in 2A and 4A respectively, but head into 2015 as the ones to beat.

2A Girls Team Scores: Lady Bulldogs Better Than The Rest Todd Grasley Jan 27, 2015

The Bolles girls edged out Hallandale by ONE point in 2014 to win the 2A state championship. This year the Lady Bulldogs should have an easier task as they return a majority of that squad. The cross country state champions will use their distance prowess to their advantage in the 4x800m relay, 800, 1,600 and 3,200m events. Miami Jackson, Ransom Everglades, Pine Crest, and Hallandale should all compete for the runner-up spot. See our top 2A girls teams heading into the 2015 season.

2A Boys Team Scores: Watch Out For West Florida Tech Todd Grasley Jan 27, 2015

West Florida Tech. They are the team to beat in 2015? The Jaguars located in Pensacola, Florida return 2A's top thrower in senior Dane Stolsig, a Rice signee, as well as hurdler Valentinoa Espinosza and the runner-up 4x800m relay from 2014. South Florida powers Booker T. Washington and Hallandale who finished 1-2 last year look to battle it out for the runner-up spot on the podium.

1A Girls Team Scores: Holy Trinity Doesn't Rebuild They Reload Todd Grasley Jan 27, 2015

Andy Warrener said it best in his recap article from 2014, "The girls Class A team title was never in doubt. The Holy Trinity girls were heavy favorites coming in and their studs delivered." The Tigers are one of the top teams again this year, but they will be without twins Daryth and Gabby Gayles who are running at Stanford.

Tampa Catholic senior Nicole Carroll, the 2013 and 2014 2A state champion comes in with the top vault this season. Her 12'6" clearance at the Golden South Classic is five inches more than her nearest competitor Jennifer Kistemaker of Osceola (Seminole), who has a best of 12'1". 2014 1A state champion Drew McMichael of Evangelical Christian School is the top pole vaulter headed into the 2015 season. McMichael surpassed 15 feet seven times, including his personal best of 16 feet set at the FPVA Beach Vault. See the top fifty boys vaulters.

Santaluces high jumper Stacey Destin added her name to the state's top leapers when she cleared 6'0 at the Palm Beach Central Conference Qualifier. Destin is only the third jumper ever in Florida history to break the six foot barrier joining Holly Kelly (6-1.25) and Viktoria Andonova (6-1.5) as the only Florida high school girls to have ever gone higher. Hallandale junior Kimani Rushing is one of the top hurdlers in the state, but also the state's top triple jumper, and one of the best in the nation. She jumped over 40'0 seven times in 2014 and her 41'0 leap at the Sam Burley Hall of Fame Invitational is the top mark heading into the 2015 season.

In 2012 and 2013 former Hillsborough High School standout Jeremiah Green was the triple jump state champion. In 2014, the torch was passed down to Dwayne Lawson. The two sport standout won the 3A crown and comes into the 2015 season, one of four jumpers to clear 47 feet, and with the top mark of 47'7".
