PACE Sports Management is pleased to announce the signing of World Championships 100m bronze medallist Trayvon Bromell (USA). With a 100m personal best time of 9.84 secs the 20 year old is the tenth fastest man in history. In the 200m Trayvon has an official personal best of 20.03 secs and a windy 19.86 secs (+2.4). The native of St. Petersburg, Florida had a fantastic junior career setting the World Junior 100m Record with a time of 9.97 secs and winning gold in the 4x100m and silver in the 100m in the World Junior Championships in Eugene last year. While at Baylor University Trayvon won the 2014 NCAA Outdoor 100m title and the 2015 NCAA Indoor 200m title. He was selected as the Gatorade High School T&F Athlete of the Year in 2013.
Trayvon will stay at Baylor to finish his degree as he prepares for the 2016 T&F season. He will continue to be coached by Mike Ford and will run professionally for New Balance.
Speaking from the New Balance headquarters in Boston where he was presented to the company Trayvon told reporters, "I am very humbled and blessed, also truly excited, to begin a new chapter in my life with New Balance and PACE Sports Management'.
