Alyson Johnson was the top girl in the state early on. The Colorado commit was sick the last two weeks of the season but still managed to help her team to a state title.
Junior Eliana Black of Cambridge (Christian) School
Eliana Black was the 1A state champion in 2022. She got a slow start to the season but continued to gain confidence won her district and regional, and was the runner-up in the 1A state championships.
The freshman had an outstanding year with six wins in nine races including a second-place finish in the 4A state championship. She had four races that were sub-18:00 on the year.
Annabella Tomasic was the best Florida girl's XC runner in 2023. She had a dominant year winning the 4a state championship as a 7th grader. This season she had six wins in nine starts, including a second-place finish in the 4A championship. She was sub-18:00 in four of her races.
The junior raced 11 times this fall with seven wins. She was third in the 1A championship and third last September at the Gulf Coast Stampede. Out of state, she was 8th at the Alexander/Asics Invitational and 12th in the Southern Showcase.
