Dillon Continues Charlotte Tradition Saying Gators Are Best Fit Todd Grasley May 24, 2016

Charlotte senior Marshall Dillon who boasts personal bests of 1:54.28 (800m), 4:16.18 (1,600m), and 15:54.20 (XC) has followed in the footsteps of former Tarpon teammates Tyler Cardillo and Ryan Schnulle and selected the University of Florida to continue his college running career. We caught up with Dillon to talk about the decision and his postseason plans before he heads off to Gainesville.

Emerald Coast Middle School 8th grader Jacob D'Aleo's 4:25.19 1,500m run earned him a middle school state championship and the fastest time of any middle schooler at that distance. D'Aleo also ranked in the top ten in the 800m run and 1,600m run. We take a look at the final boys middle school rankings for EVERY distance event.

7th graders Tamari Davis and Sherri Ann Norton are two of the top middle school sprinters in the state and nationwide. Davis won the 100 and 200 at the FLYRA Middle School State Championships with Norton finishing runner-up in both events.
