Emily Headley Interview
Emily Headley started things off on a positive in the Girls Varsity race. She took on the mountains of Dora with a nearly 20 second victory in 20:37, over hometown favorite Christina McKinney of Mt. Dora Bible. The junior from Olympia was helped out by strong performances from her teammates, who scored just 33 points by putting five in the top 12 (and their seventh runner at 16th).
Father Lopez finished second in 80 points, showing solid depth. And MDB was third with 100.

Interview with Boys Champ Troy Clark
The boys race started off with Troy Clark of Mount Dora Bible showing that no one could traverse the ups and downs of his home course like him! He put up an absolutely stellar time of 17:02 that should equate to a time deep into the 15-minute-range on a flat course. Thirty-four seconds later, Franco Martins of Windermere Prep came in at 17:36.
And then it was Titan time! Desi Ferreira led things off for Olympia in 18:03 and then they just kept coming, interupted only by Garrett Camps of Melbourne. Olympia's five man finished eighth overall to kill it with just 22 points over the 100 points of Melbourne.
