Former Colonial star and University of Florida freshman Andres Arroyo made his mark on the state record books in 2013 including a #1 mark in the 800 meters (1:47.79), #3 1600 meters (4:04.45) and #2 3200 meters (8:51.47). With marks like these Arroyo is arguably the greatest distance runner ever in the state of Florida.
Records are meant to be broken. If those records are broken today, tomorrow or not for five years is the big question. In this series we take a look at the top twenty five times marks in our flrunners.com database, which current runners are on the list, how far they can move up, and if the top times are in jeopardy. Today we will look at the distance events with the field events coming tomorrow.
