2014 was a breakout year for East Ridge's Terry Jernigan. Before the year, he was running in the high 10 second, low 11 second range for 100 meters. Fast forward and with a renewed focus and passion for the sport, Jernigan is the 4A 100 and 200 meter state champion, Golden South Champion, and has posted some of the fastest times in the country earning him invitations to the Adidas Dream 100 in New York City and the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle. We caught up with Terry before he left for the Big Apple to talk about the 2014 season, the upcoming meets, and his future plans.
