Two weeks after winning his second 1A state title in the pole vault, ECS senior and Auburn signee Drew McMichael is back at it. McMichael, improved on his state best 16'5" with a new personal best 16'6.75 clearance at the NTC/Pure Athletics Meet on Saturday. After soaring over that height, he made attempts at 17'1, but was unable to clear. He says he'll take the PR, but he still isn't satisfied.
Next up for McMichael will be graduation on Friday followed by the 2015 Golden South Classic on Saturday where he will face a competitive field with several 16'0 plus vaulters!
