Workout Wednesday: Trinity Prep Saints Slash 200/200 Workout


Want to see the workout that took Trinity Prep to the top of the Race of Champions podium? Watch the Saints do a 200/200 workout. Coach Ken Vinal, who snagged the idea from legendary Largo coach Brett Haley says it is a great example of race simulation.

The Workout:

  • First 200m slightly faster than 5k goal pace
  • Second 200m around 10 seconds slower than previous 200m
  • Goal: To try and do up to three miles or 12 total laps
