Over three dozen teams in the greater Miami area will make the trip to Larry and Penny Thompson Mark the site of the 2015 GMAC Championship. JV action will start at 2:30 with the varsity races coming immediately after.
After transferring to North Miami High School for her junior season, multiple time state champion, Daesha Rogers looks to be settling in nicely. She was second, first, and sixth in her first three meets and will need this fourth race to be eligible for the postseason. Rogers 20:01.75 is the fastest time in the field and although it is unlikely she will get down to her 19:03.28 meet record time set in 2013, she is hoping to break 20 minutes for the first time in 2015. Ferguson's Jazmyn Martinez and teammates Kaylee Alfaro and Gabriela Crespi, Coral Reef junior Rachel Osman, and Roger's former Miami Northwestern teammate Shiree Hinds have all broke 21 minutes and should be in the mix.
