Auburndale's Chauncy Smart is one of the most consistent 100m runners in the state with seven races under 10.8 and a personal best of 10.57 from the 3A Region 2 Championship. Smart was 5th at the 3A state meet and comes in with the fastest 100m dash time of any junior in Florida. In the hurdles, Damion Thomas and Trevon Grimes, are two of the top hurdlers in 4A, the state, and nationally as well!
