Boys 3200 - Summary Article


Girls 3200 - Kayla Hale wins easily, running a 10:42.71 meet record time, which now puts her at third best in the state this season. Jana Stolting (Maclay) was second in 11:26, followed by Kara Taylor (Chiles).

Girls 300H - Ilene Martin (Lake Mary) 47.60.

Boys 300H - Justin Manchester (Bay) 37.66 meet record, for fifth on the state leaderboard.

Boys 400m - Jordan Byas 47.39 meet record, third in the state.

Girls 400m - Nia Anderson (Lake Mary) 57.69 meet record.

Boys 4x800m - Smiths Station, Alabama just beat out Sickles 8:02.55 to 8:04.72--both were meet records. Both times are the tops in the state this season in Alabama and Florida, respectively.

Girls 4x800 - Berkeley Prep 10:04.

Boys 4x200 - Bay 1:29.45 meet record.

Girls 4x200 - Lake Mary 1:43.21 meet record; Smiths Station, Alabama was just a few steps behind in 1:43.95. The time is good enough to put Lake Mary in the fourth position in the Florida rankings this season, and vaults Smiths Station to the pole position in the Alabama rankings.

Boys DMR - Great battle with Ferguson taking the lead (10:32.78) over Belen Jesuit (10:34.18) and Smiths Station, Alabama (10:36.11). The times are 1 and 2 in Florida, and #1 in Alabama for each team.

Girls DMR - Pensacola Pace 13:39.48.

Boys 110H - Pabla Alvarez 14.73 wins in a meet record, to go along with his second place in the 300H.

Girls 100H - Jenna Albert (South Forsyth, GA) 15.95.

Boys Shot - Hunter Poole (Lincoln) 50-4.5.

- Willie Downs (Godby) 21-7.75.

Girls Shot - Erika Jones (Smiths Station, Alabama) 35-0.

Boys High Jump - Wilie Downs (Godby) 6-4.75, coming way with his second win of the day in the jumps.

Girls Long Jump - Sharzay Thomas (Godby) 17-5.
