The heart of Jacksonville will become a make shift pole vault hub on Saturday. The JAC Street Vault will be held at the Jacksonville Landing and welcome over 70 athletes including the best from Florida, Georgia, and even an entrant from Egypt!
The event is the only street vault in the state of Florida and over the past few years has attracted great talent from all over including last year's state meet record of 17'2" set by Drew McMichael.
In addition to McMichael, 1/4 of the field will be from the Jacksonville Athletic Club who is hosting the event. The meet will be divided into separate girls/women's vault in the morning and a boys/men's vault in the early afternoon.
Performance Lists
This year the top 3 high school girls, as well as
for the top 3 post- HS girls will all receive medals and the same for the boys. In addition, there will also be a special "Champion Trophy" for the
overall boys and girls winner.
Sticking with the fun experience there will be a DJ spinning the best tunes and fans and athletes can get involved in all the action by using the #Duvault!
