American Heritage won the 2A crown in 2016, but lose hurdler McKinly Brown to graduation. The school has one of the top football programs in the country and will hope to get some of those gridiron standouts onto the track. Anthony Schwartz is the defending 100/200m champion and was a major factor in the team's relays. Six other teams are listed higher on our pre-season rankings making the chance to defend very hard.
