This list of girls are my top freshmen to look out for this upcoming year. A lot of young talent can be found in Florida, but these girls have a huge opportunity to do big things for their respective schools.
Alyson Churchill (Lincoln High School)
The freshman distance runner from Tallahassee's Lincoln High School, has already broken onto the high school stage. Churchill won the 3A State Cross Country championships this past fall and also broke 18 mins in the 5k in her first high school season. And if that's not impressive enough on February 27th she ran the second best time in the 3200 in the US in 10:32. Churchill will be the favorite to win the 3A State track meet in the 3200 and could help Lincoln make a run for the team title.
