Hertenstein Vs. Hendrix On The Track - Round 1
Newsome High School's (FL) Bailey Hertenstein battled Riverview High schools (FL) Alyssa Hendrix all the way to the line in the girls 1600m at the Wharton Wildcat Invitational. Hertenstein took the win running a new US No. 1 time of 4:53.24, while Hendrix would finish in a new US No. 2 time of 4:53.51.
Hertenstein would also win the 800m in the new US No. 3 mark of 2:13.64 while Hendrix took the victory in the 3200m running the new US No. 7 time of 10:56.24.
