The Hallandale Lady Chargers lit up this list, but a lot of other individuals put on a show at the Region meets! This week is the week all track fans have been waiting on....State Week! Make sure to vote for your favorite region performer and check back later this week to see who wins and for all your state coverage.

Caitlin Collier- The top middle distance star in the country continued steamrolling through the competition as she won the 800, 1600, 4x800, and 4x400 at the Region 1 2A Meet. Collier set the US #2 time in the 1600 with a 4:44.51, and then followed it up with a dominant 2:08.20. The Stanford signee will be the distance athlete to watch this upcoming weekend.

Tamari Davis- The Davis vs Williams show is now official as both girls won the 100 and 200 at their Regions, but it was Davis who boasted the week's top 200 time with a 23.70. The freshman phenom from Gainesville HS took the wins for the Region 2 3A meet, as she continues to hold the US #1 time in the 200 and the US #2 time in the 100 meter dash.

Jatana Folston- The junior from Cocoa HS had a wonderful outing as she won the Region 4 2A 400 meter and 800 meter, as she recorded the fastest time in the 400 of the week. Folston's 53.82 was good enough for the win as she gets ready to peak this weekend at UNF.

She recorded two wins as she ran 13.74 and a 44.10. The sophomore from Miami Northwestern is the reigning State champion in both hurdle events and will be going for the two-peat this weekend.

Amani Heaven- You know your doing something right when you have the top discus mark of the week and the second top mark in the shot put, right behind your teammate. The FSU signee did just that at the Region 4 2A meet where she threw the weeks state leading mark of 145-2.

Jordyn ShowersThe sophomore from Calvary Christian held it down for 1A this past weekend as she posted the top long jump mark of the week at the Region 2 1A meet. Showers' jump of 19-2.25 feet is going to make her the favorite to take home the 1A Long Jump State Champion medal.
