It was a close race last year at the FLYRA Middle School State Championship 200m and the stats tell us this year that we should expect the same. Richard Young comes in the top ranked spot and his 23.15 second place finish at last year's FLYRA Middle School State Championship and 22.51 PR. Keep an eye out for Jaiden Tousaint, Jevon Robertson , and Jalen Brown this season. These three athletes have strong PR's and will challenge the top this season.
Tyrese Cooper holds the 200m state meet record in a time of 21.26, with Young's PR coming in hot at 22.51, there could be a possibility we see one of these athletes become a new record holder this year.
