The University of Florida adds to their talented recruiting class with one of Miami-Dade's fastest distance athletes, Jordan Shapiro.
Shapiro's friends and family took to twitter to congratulate the Miami Palmetto senior on her commitment.
The future Gator will join what is building up to be the programs best recruiting class of the past decade. Shapiro has been idle this cross country season, but keep your eyes out for this star for her senior track season.
She holds PR's of 2:16 in the 800m, 4:58 in the 1600m, and 11:00 in the 3200m, making her one of Miami-Dade's most formidable opponents.
