Terry Parker's Aaron Bell Runs US No. 2 60m At Carl Lewis

Terry Parker HS and Top End Track Club competitor, Aaron Bell, set a new US No. 2 in the 60m this weekend at the Carl Lewis Invitational.

Bell's epic 6.72 was enough to win the 60m dash. He then doubled back to finish second with a new indoor 200m PR of 21.53.

This Jacksonville native has come from under the radar, to now among one of the top athletes to look out for this season -- this breakout race is just the start for him.

Last season he focused on the 400m dash at the state meet to finish 9th with a new PR of 48.70. This season we can expect to see him partake in the 100m and 200m distances a little more often and come up in distance for a killer 400m.

One thing is for sure, with talent and speed like this early in the season, Bell is sure to be a threat in the 3A classification come outdoor in just a few weeks.
