The Miami Northwestern alumnus performance is a Florida No. 2 all-time for the distance, Damion Thomas running 13.32 (3.7) at the Carifta Games in 2016 and Arthur Blake and Mike Roberson's 120 Yard Hurdle equivalent.
His performance at Bob Hayes ultimately led to a career best in high school and led the Florida star to finish the year as the top hurdler in the nation.
Burns went on to compete for hometown University of Miami in both football and track. He then went on to be a NO. 25 draft pick and begin his NFL career for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
