The FHSAA Board of Directors voted on Thursday night to delay the fall sports season till Aug. 24.
On Monday, after five hours, the board voted 10-5 to continue with it's July 27th start date. Just 72 hours later, the board voted 11-4 to delay the season till late August, pending competition protocols.
The board will meet again prior to Aug. 24 to discuss the future of fall sports beyond August.
In the meantime teams are still allowed to practice, as their school and county allows it, under the off season/summer conditioning protocols.
