Erica Roberts (Northside Christian) - Girls 100m, 200m, 400m

The Northside junior Erica Roberts might have one of the best chances among all 4 classifications at the University of North Florida this weekend to pull off the sprint triple as among 1A's fastest performers this season in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash. She was a close runner-up in the 100 (12.37) and 400 (57.72) at 1A Region 3 Meet behind Fort Meade's Azaria Whitehurst (12.33) in the 100 and Admiral Farragut's Tytiana Wilson (56.45) in the 400, while winning the 200 with a 24.95 PR clocking.

Tytiana Wilson (Admiral Farragut) - Girls 400m, 200m, 4x400m, 4x100m

Wilson looked to be the early season favorite in 1A for the girls 400 title before she was upset by Northside Christian's Roberts at Mustang Invite. She got back in the driver seat though defeating Roberts head to head for the 1A Region 3 title last week in a 56.23 PR. Wilson also clocked a PR of 25.17 in the 200 at her regional meet and also anchor on the sub 4 classification leading 4x400 meter relay.

Jessica Edwards (Canterbury School) - Girls 800m, 4x800m, 4x400m

The senior headed to the University of Florida, Edwards has been the state leader in the 800 for the majority of the season and has run back-to-back 2:09 season-best performances in her last two races at the district and region level. She will be a heavy favorite to win the 800 and also run a key leg of the Canterbury School squad in the 4x400 and 4x800 as the second seed in both relays.

Mary Ellen Eudaly (Cambridge Christian) - Girls 1600m, 4x800m

One of the fastest milers ever in Florida high school history working her way down to a US #5 4:44.80 season-best for 1600 meters as part of one of the best duos in U.S. high school history with teammate Caroline Lehman. With Lehman focusing on the 3200 and another sub 5-minute miler in Jessica Edwards focusing on the 800. Eudaly will also run on Cambridge's 4x800 meter relay, which has the leading time in the classification at 9:45.

Caroline Lehman (Cambridge Christian) - Girls 3200m, 4x800m

The state indoor record holder at two miles, Caroline Lehman could potentially run the fastest winning time among all the classifications for 3200 meters with a 10:18 season-best and PR in the event recently at her regional meet. After running 4:46 for 1600 meters behind teammate Eudaly at their district meet, Lehman and Eudaly have opted to focus on singular individual events at the state meet.

Leah Martin-Gonzales (St. John Neumann) - Girls 100m Hurdles, Long Jump

The junior hurdler from Naples in Leah Martin-Gonzales has been a consistent sub 15-second performer in the girls 100-meter hurdles including a wind-legal PR clocking of 14.55 at the 1A Region 3 Meet. Only Loren Brown from Community School of Naples has gone sub 15 seconds among other hurdlers in 1A to make St. John Neumann's Martin-Gonzales as the overwhelming favorite in the event. She is also the top seed and entrant in the long jump with a best mark of 5.47m (17'11.50").

Camila Garanton (Carrollwood Day School) - Girls 300m Hurdles

She has yet to lose a single race this season in the 300-meter hurdles. A completely undefeated season so far for Carrollwood Day School's Camila Garanton in her specialty and she looks to continue onto a 1A state title on Friday bringing her 44.33 personal best into the weekend.
