Aaron Bell (Terry Parker) - Boys 400m
A very intriguing matchup presents itself in the boys 400-meter dash with two of Florida's best in their respective specialties with 3A boys 100 and 200-meter dash state champion Aaron Bell of Terry Parker stepping up to the distance, while 800-meter national leader Samuel Austin stepping down in distance.
Bell posted some remarkable wind-legal times of 10.34 in the 100 and 20.71 in the 200-meter dash at the state meet, which legitimately makes you wonder if he is the fastest sprinter in the state right now and would be an interesting matchup with the likes of Jaylen Slade right now if they raced head to head.
Instead, Bell will get a head-to-head matchup with Sam Austin and a chance to test as well as show off his range at 400 meters. Bell has raced the event sparingly this spring and has run 48.22 in the past. There is no doubt that he's capable of 47 seconds with some of his relay splits as well in 4x400 action.
