LAKE MARY, FL--Day one was a laid back high school meet featuring some big names and a lot of fun.
Matt Cianciulli made a surprise visit and jumped in and won the 1600, 600 and 4x4...one of his 4x400 teammates being
Oviedo 400m starlett Lauren Austin. Chinch made it look easy winning the 1600m in a relaxed 4:24, while Austin took the 100 in 12.83. Lake Mary's
star-studded distance crew also made good opening showings--minus Jessica Zabel who had a soccer match.
Astrid Claessens won the 1600 in 5:50.
Day two's middle school races were much more populus than their high school counterparts. The top performer of the day
was Erica Morris who won both the Girls 100m and 600m races with a good ammount of room to spare. Caleb Vogt, who won
the flrunners.com Invitational middle school boys race last fall, won the boys 1600m convincingly. He will be a member
of Winter Park's cross country team next fall.
