6. Will Neeld (Circle Christian)
One of the more consistent freshman performers in the state as only 24 seconds separates his fastest time at 16:44 from the Cecil Field Summer Classic to his slowest time of 17:08 at the Florida Horse Park Invitational, Will Neeld has broken 17 minutes on 4 occasions this season.
He has held his own racing in deep and elite fields with a 46th place finish at the Katie Caples Invite and 84th place finish in the elite race at the FSU Pre-State Invite. After breaking 10 minutes for 3200 meters last spring as an eighth-grader, Neeld's cross country times this season are certainly no surprise and could be an All-State finisher in cross country for the 1A classification on a potential state champion squad.
