Top Florida Girls XC Times From Last Week's Postseason Races

Cambridge Christian senior Caroline Lehman did all she could to put herself in position for a spot to nationals by running a season-best and cross country 5K best time of 17:26 at McAlpine Greenway Park in Charlotte on Saturday. In the last 5 years of Eastbay (formerly Foot Locker) South Regionals, the performance would be fast enough to be among the top 10 in the seeded race to qualify one for nationals. But this year turned out to be a very fast and deep year for the regional and placing the two-time FHSAA 1A state cross country champ Lehman 11th with her speedy time.
