The first sub-15-minute race of the season in Florida was not by Rheinhardt Harrison nor Michael Toppi, but by Belen Jesuit's Adam Magoulas in a 14:57 meet and course record victory at the Spanish River Invitational on September 18th against Toppi. Unfortunately, a mid-season foot injury derailed the season for the University of Florida commit and was able to come back in time for the state meet to gut up a ninth-place finish of 16:16 in the 3A race while cross-training exclusively to help Belen Jesuit to another state team title in cross country.
