Top Girls Races To Watch From FHSAA 1A Regionals


Azaria Whitehurst of Fort Meade and McKenzie Travis of Evangelical Christian School dueled it out twice to fast times in both the 100 and 200 at the FHSAA 1A Region 3 meet in Naples. The defending 1A state champion in the 100 and the sophomore Whitehurst won both races with swift personal best times of 11.73 in the 100 and 24.23 in the 200 compared to fellow sophomore Travis at 11.93 for 100 meters and 24.57 for 200 meters. 

Showcasing the fastest girls race performances we got on film from the FHSAA 1A Regionals on Wednesday, May 4th.

Unfortunately, no race videos from 1A Region 1 meet at Bishop Snyder as well as the 4x400s at 1A Region 4 (weather forced to reschedule to 5/5).
