FHSAA 1A Girls 4x800m Relay

The Cambridge Christian girls repeated as state champions in the 4x800 meter relay with an initial ten points on the day that would kickstart their eventual team title on the day as well.

Their squad featured 3 of the 4 athletes that would be on a stacked "A" squad in Eliana Black, Caroline Lehman, and Mary Ellen Eudaly as Madelyn Spadaro on the second leg would step in with Madeleine Gear saved for the 1600 and 3200 meter double. 

Black would get their team out to an early lead with a 2:17 split. Spadaro would hold off Oak Hall trying to challenge them in second place with a 2:21 split on second leg before their two senior superstars in Lehman (2:23 split) and Eudaly (2:21 split) would finish off for a comfortable 9:32 victory saving room in the tank for their next two individual races.

Oak Hall featuring Lauren Jones and Sydney Miller amongst their legs would earn state runner-up honors in 9:41, while a total of five squads would break 10 minutes in the race including Admiral Farragut Academy (3rd, 9:41), Maclay School (4th, 9:56), and Pensacola Christian (5th, 9:58).
