The Satellite boys took several key graduation losses, moved up in classification from 2A to 3A, and have arguably the state's deepest and strongest team in the state to compete against directly in Belen Jesuit seeking a 7th straight 3A state title. But don't count Satellite out from end up as a top 2 state meet podium squad come November.
