Virtual meet projection for the high school girls teams and runners competing at this weekend's HOKA flrunners.com Invitational at Holloway Park in Lakeland, which was rescheduled two weeks later after Hurricane Ian. The meet will be headlined by the FL #1 ranked Belen Jesuit boys, who will have a couple elite individuals in the field to try and break up their top 7 which all broke 16 minute slast weekend at FSU Pre-State Invitational including Braxton Legg of Cambridge Christian and Riley Novack of Montverde Academy.
The Ruiz twins Joshua and Joseph will try to go 1-2 together for Belen Jesuit at Holloway Park, while Legg and Novack have both run well in the 15 minute range to press them. With the meet being two weeks later than usual, the temperatures should be cooler and more ideal for fast times to see potentially the course record set last year by Belen Jesuit's Adam Magoulas of 15:30 challenged.
