Palmetto Ridge's Bernardo Barnhart came out on top in a spirited battle with Sunlake's Alex Pena to win the 4A Region 2 title on Saturday at North Port High School in a 15:18 5K PR and position himself to be one of the top individual contenders for the 4A state title this weekend in Tallahassee.
