Often overlooked at the High School level is the girl's Pentathlon. IMG Jr. Yuliya Maslouskaya in an outstanding display of her all-around athleticism, won the NBNI Girls Pentathlon setting a new meet record of 3,627 points. Maslouskaya won by 109 points in a close competition over Houston Christians Cate Bryant who scored 3,518. The Heptathlon consists of the 60mH, the High Jump, the Shot Put, the Long Jump, and the 800m. It is contested over two days. Maslouskaya's specialties are the High jump and the Long Jump. She won the Long Jump and was 2nd in the High Jump.
