Boys 800m
The Fl #3 and 4 ranked boys, Jr. Kai Martin of Cambridge Christian (1:53.70) and Jr. Devin Jones of Miami Northwestern (1:54.21) have the challenge of Sr. Riley Smith of Buchholz. It's Smith's first 800 of the season. He has run 1:53.12 and is coming off the heels of running a 4:04.65 Mile indoors and setting a new All-Time Florida 3200m record of 8:39.71 last week at FSU.
Three other sub-1:55.00 boys should be at the 600 with Smith, Jones and Martin one expects a frantic last 180. Sr. Roman Mollicone of Fleming Island has run 1:54,56, Jr. Jeffrey Belizaire of Coral Springs has gone 1:54.71, and Sr. Elliot Anderson of South West Florida Christian Academy 1:54.98.
