FL MileSplit Top 20 Boys Subjective XC Rankings

Cross Country times can be very subjective in comparison to Track Times.  Much can depend on the terrain of the course, its actual distance, the race competition and of course the weather on the day of the race.  The weekly MileSplit Rankings are based on time.  Generally, the top runners do run the top times.  The times are not always indicative however of, especially early in the season, who is and who may be the best XC runners.  Below are the Top 20 Boys comparative and subjective Cross Country rankings that take into account not just the runner's current season times, but also what they have run on the track and their potential to run a fast XC time.   And, of course, some athletes run better in XC than on the track.  Some prefer the track to the course.

The first rankings are based upon the Top 20 returners XC times from last season and the returning Top 20 MileSplit Ranking is shown.  The Subjective Ranking is on the right. We'll keep it updated each week and see who moves up and down and into the Top 20.
