AAU Junior Olympic Champions Update

Florida young runners, throwers and jumpers took home 37 National titles at the recent AAU Junior Olympics in Greensboro.  Over the weeks-long competition, I tried to recognize all of the Florida athletes.  One individual and one relay were missed.  On Wednesday in Session 5, Miami Garden's Alexandrea Fraser won the Girl's 12-year-old 800m in 2:17.12.  She was also 2nd in her age group in the 400m with a 57.48. Fraser was also the AAU Club Champion Girls 12-year-old 800m champion with a 2:21.08.


In the 12-year-old girl's 4x400m Relay, the young ladies from Five Star General Athletics ran a 4:02.03 on Saturday in session 8 in their winning effort.  The team was made up of
