Florida Girls Performer of the Week (Feb.17-23)

The Florida Girls Performer of the Week poll will close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 28, and the winner will be announced shortly after. 

Take a look at five of the top-performing girls from last weekend.

Tyra Cox of Miami Northwestern ran a US #1 in the 400m. Cox ran 52.97 at the Southridge Spartan Invitational.

Mackenzie Roy of Spruce Creek won the 21st Annual East Coast Classic 3200 in a record 10:38.39. The Auburn commits time is a current US #5.

Lauren Kirby of Somerset Pembroke Pines shot put at the Louie Bing Invitational was a US #1 throw at the time in the shot. Her throw of 16.63m (48-00) currently stands at US #2.

Chelsi Williams of George Jenkins currently has the 4th  longest jump in the nation with a leap of 5.93m (19-5.5) in the long jump. The results weren't in for last week's poll, but we wanted to recognize her performance.

Leneah Green of Ocoee HS was the third girl to dip under 12 in the 100m this season with an 11.94 at the St. Cloud Track Invitational.
