Watch for 8th Grader, Sofie Stam of Bolles, as she works through her 2nd varsity season. Last year, as a 7th grader, she was 7th at the FHSAA 2A State XC Championship in 18:39.10, 6th on the track in the 3200m with an 11:09.16 and ran a 5:03.80 at the Bolles Mile Showcase. This XC season she opened at the Cecil Field Summer Classic with a 45th place finish in 23:42.00. She bounced back with a 7th pace at the Florida Horse Park Invitational with a 19:12.30. Watch for her to continue to improve and gain experience. She is one of Florida's young FUTURE STARS.
