Coach Frankie Ruiz of Belen Jesuit has built one of the best programs in Florida. Having a strong Elementary and middle school program that feeds the JV and Varsity teams is a key to success. One of his rising young stars in Freshman Nicholas Veloso. Veloso, as an 8th Grader, was undefeated in his 5 3,000m Middle School XC races, including the FLYRA MS State Cross Country Championship at Holloway Park with a 9:36.90. This year he has continued to improve and is the #1 ranked Freshman in the state.
