Junior Eliana Black of Cambridge (Christian) School ran a state-leading 4:57.89 1600m at the Calvary Christian Warrior Invitational. She is one of only three girls under 5:00 this season. She doubled back with a Fla. #3 win in the 3200m in 10:57.82.
Senior Chelsi Williams of George Jenkins ran a US #1 13.42 in the 100mH at the Berkeley Track and Field Invitational. She leads three other Florida girls, Aleesa Samuel of Flanagan, Alexia Reid of Dillard, and Nia Armstrong of Sickles, who respectively are ranked US #2, 3,
and 5 in the 100mH at this time.
Senior Elizabeth Dowdy of Maclay went 3.8m (12-5.5) in the Pole Vault at the Jimmy Everett Invitational. Her vault is the number one vault this outdoor season thus far. She is a three-time 1A state champion in the pole vault.
8th grader Shynah Collins of Dillard ran a nation-leading 2:07.54 800m. Her time is the leading middle school US and Florida,800m of all-time.
Senior Julia Lemmon of Fort Myers threw a state-leading 47.44m (155-7.75) in the 11th Annual Loretta Purish Invitational discus. It is currently at US #3.
