VOTE: Florida Boys Performer of the Week (Mar. 30- Apr. 5)


The Florida Boys Performer of the Week poll will close at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th, and the winner will be announced shortly after.

POLL: Florida  Girls Performer of the Week (Mar. 23-29)

Senior Tywan Cox of Miami Northwestern had a big weekend. He was 2nd in the 400m with a US #5 46.29 at the Pepsi Florida Relays, and he anchored the Miami Northwestern team to a US #1 3:08.74 win in the 4x400m Relay.

The Miami Northwestern 4x400m Relay team, composed of Makhii Fleming, Marckenzy Joseph, J'Vari Flowers, and Tywan Cox ran a Florida All-Time record of 3:08.74. It is currently the US #1 time and a US #8 All-Time.

Senior Joshua Gammage of Dillard HS won the 3200m in 9:19.53  and the 1600m in 4:13.14 at the Pepsi Florida Relays and anchored his 4x800m relay team to a 2nd place finish in a US #2 time of 7:42.95.

The Spanish River team of Max Cescato, Daniel Reyes, Casey Sangely, and Preston Sangely won the 4x800m Relay at the Pepsi Florida Relays in 7:42.52. A current US #1 and a Florida #10 All-Time.

Junior James Johnson of North Fort Myers tossed the shot put 18.40m (60-4.5) to win the Pepsi Florida Relays. His throw moved him into the number one spot in the rankings in Florida.

Middleton senior Kaleb Williams threw the javelin 60.733 (199-3) to move into the top spot in the Florida rankings this season. His throw is currently US #6.
