Chelsi Williams of George Jenkins HS, after an incredible senior season, was just named the
Gatorade Florida Girls Track and Field Player of the Year
Williams, who is headed to the University of Georgia in the fall, capped off her high school career, which totaled nine state 4A titles, by winning the 4A 100mH for the third consecutive year, as well as the long jump and the triple jump. She was undefeated in the regular FHSAA season in all three. Her win in the 100mH at the FSU Invitational with a time of 13.28 ranks her No. 4 all-time in Florida in the girls 100mH.
